Althaea Rooms is a small family-owned hotel offering clean and modern rooms with all the essentials you’ll need. Our room also had a private patio that was really nice. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Skiathos town and 10 minutes from the harbour, with restaurants, bars and shops. Additionally, a bus stop and a convenience store are only 2 minutes away. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling down in the sun. Since the hotel is small in size with not too many rooms, we always found some available sunbeds where we could relax and enjoy drinks, food, or snacks from their bar and cafe area. Staying at Althaea was a wonderful experience with nothing to complain about. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible family that owns it. From the moment we arrived, they were really friendly, checking in with us to see if everything was fine during our stay and going out of their way to make sure we were happy. The greatest example of this was when we were leaving Skiathos. We were about to check in at the airport when we realized that we had left some clothes in our room. After calling the hotel and explaining the situation, Alkis, the hotel co-owner, showed up at the airport with our clothes only 20 minutes later. Such exceptional service is rare and deeply appreciated. I highly recommend this place for couples, families, and small groups of friends. It’s quiet, with a great location close to the city and probably the best staff in all of Skiathos. Thank you for having us. We hope to come back again!

Great hosts - very kind and helpful. Exceptionally clean. Nice view from the balcony. Very close to the beach. Also very close to the bus stop number 5. Great place to stay in Skiathos!

The whole property was amazing, well-tended grounds, landscaping and the pool area was thoroughly cleaned every morning. Our room was perfect, comfortable, airy, spacious and with that breezy Mediterranean feel that travellers seek when coming to Greece. Oh, and of course their breakfast was amazing...the Greek yogurt with honey and fruit is a must. The proprietors, George and Ana, are incredibly gracious, welcoming, accommodating and downright genuine, friendly people. I highly recommend this establishment if you find yourself on Skiathos.

Elleny, Vivi, and Zoe went above and beyond with their recommendations, kindness, and generosity, making my stay truly memorable. The great breakfast served at the hotel was the perfect start to each day, complementing the exceptional service provided by the staff. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Elleny, Vivi, and Zoe's local knowledge helped me explore the area and discover hidden gems. The staff's exceptional customer service and warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Ubicado a 18 minutos a pie de Skiathos Plakes Beach, Skiathos Holiday Resort ofrece una alberca al aire libre por temporada, un jardín y hospedaje climatizado con una terraza y WiFi gratis. Location is great, near both port and airport. Place is lit up magically at night. And all the staff very helpful. Being sent off to the beaches with a packed lunch a real treat. Also when we did ask for things the team responded very quickly..

Super nice food for little money! Perfect staff, good vibes and even though the world was going down because of the storm, the team of la luna was simply amazing. I can highly recommend this wonderful place!
