Embodying the 110-year-old legacy of John Jacob Astor IV, our 5-star hotel in South Mumbai made its debut as the first St. Regis hotel in India. I’ll stay at the Saint Regis was above excellence, it was my birthday and they provided us with a daily treat including an entire birthday cake, red roses, and greetings from all staff members. The beds are the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced and the staff will go to lengths for you. Everything is sparkling clean and the rooms are beautiful, facilities in the hotel are excellent and there is even a bottle of champagne which is opened with a Sabre every day at 6 pm for a complimentary glass of champagne with guests.

Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The location and the history of the iconic property is obviously amazing. The internal design, architecture and aura in the Palace building is very beautiful. The service by staff was outstanding and I think this was the real highlight of our stay - right from the time of checkin to checkout. I would like to make a special mention of the Housekeeping manager- Mr. Sandeep Ghuge, who made some special arrangements in our room for myself and my wife (who is a foreigner visiting Mumbai for the first time) , because we were at the Taj to celebrate our anniversary. All in all , a memorable experience. The food in the restaurant (Masala Bay) as well as at the complimentary breakfast was also outstanding.
