The location of the resort was excellent and the grounds were well maintained. The entrance to Amboseli National Park is far away and resort keeps you in middle of the park for easy access to the game drive areas and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. All of the hotel staff we interacted with were are very friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet was exceptional and there was a diverse selection of food. There were several sitting areas around the resort where you could observe birds and other animals in the national park while you relaxed. Tea and coffee were always available in an area adjacent to the bar. The room was very comfortable and had a ceiling fan to help keep you cool.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The grounds were beautiful, the views of Mt Kilimanjaro were breath taking, the pool was one of the nicest I have ever been in. We traveled with our kids, but my wife commented on how romantic it would be as just a couple. The food is incredible and plentiful. They will even pack you a big lunch if you're doing a full day game drive. The Masai on site are friendly and fun. And there are happy hour drinks and snacks everywhere you turn.

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. The food was excellent, always ready on time. The staff were very friendly and willing to serve. All in all was an excellent experience for me and my family. Will definitely be going back .

This is a very nicely located property - close to the park gate yet not within it (which makes it great value for money) . The view of Mount Kilimanjaro from here is absolutely spectacular in the mornings !

Maasai Simba Camp ligger i hjärtat av Maasai-landet, 35 km från Amboseli nationalpark. Här erbjuds fantastisk utsikt över den afrikanska savannen och det legendariska berget Kilimanjaro. Although a bit off the beaten track we think it’s a bonus as our highlight was definitely the nature walks with Kwenia, he is so knowledgeable and everytime we went for a walk we saw animals, zebras, antilopes, ostriches and so many giraffes not mentioning lots lots of birds. And unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, different in the evening and morning. Food is also very good and everybody makes you feel at home. We stayed 3 nights but I wish we could spend more time there, we loved our tent, I can’t believe how crispy clean our sheets were! It’s really easy from Nairobi, we took a 1.5 htrain to Emali and we were picked up from the station (30$ for a pick up) I hope to be back.

The tents, bar and restaurant are extremely good. The service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Pedro. The best omlette and pizza maker.
