Set in Azuga, 14 km from Peles Castle, HOTEL CARPAT INN offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. A gem in a not-so-crowded mountain resort. Everything is as you would expect from a 4 star hotel, the size of the rooms, the comfort, the cleanliness, the staff. It's very child friendly, 4 play areas, both shallow and deep pools, large jacuzzi, that will keep them entertained. We found no need to go anywhere else for meals, the food at the restaurant is excellent and the prices are on par with the quality. The breakfast is quite varied and everything is fresh. The coffee was one of the better I've had at hotel breakfasts. Overall it's 10/10 and I would recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Alexandrion Experience in Sinaia is 200 metres away from the ski lift to the Cota 1400 Ski Area. Peles Castle is 1.5 km away. The hotel is a real four star establishment. Impressive hall, fresh flowers, dignified and helpful staff. Room not big but tastefully decorated, quiet and confortable. I didn't have a special view but it was the only one available when I checked in at 10.30 am. Plentyful and varied breakfast, safe parking space for a small fee. Incredible value for money.
