He made a fabulous Japanese gin and tonic during their awesome Happy Hour. I could not have landed in a better hotel. They all seemed to genuinely care about this American traveler. The rooms are very clean, modern and chic...shower super fabulous. Huge screen TV and amazing black out curtains. Incredibly handy shopping center an elevator away. Was very convenient. The whole operation of hotel is 1st class, anyone should enjoy their stay. Room service pizza one night spot on delicious. Debbie's Place is 150 metres from the Great Sandy National Park and 500 metres from Rainbow Beach. It offers free covered parking and rooms with free WiFi and a patio. I loved the accommodation. They have a kind of balcony in each room with a gas stove and a long table for six people. I thought it very charming, and perhaps you bring your family to stay in another room, and you can cook and have dinner all together. Debbie is a lovely lady. She stops to give you attention and gives all information about the area that you need. Also, everything in the room is spotless, beautiful and well-maintained.

Featuring a private saltwater lagoon, sandy beaches and an artificial reef with tropical fish, the 28-storey JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is set in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.

The apartment on the 20th floor is lovely, tastefully decorated and spacious with fantastic views of the beach. The bed was comfortable, there is a microwave, the bathroom was big and had a spa bath and a good sized shower. The host, a lovely lady named Vivienne, met us in the foyer when we arrived and accompanied us up to the apartment. We appreciated the extra goodies given to make our stay special too. The apartment’s location is close to the Florida Gardens tram stop, a 20 minute walk to the Oasis Shopping Centre at Broadbeach North and two tram stops to Pacific Fair at Broadbeach South. You can catch the 777 bus to and from the airport. We will certainly stay here again when we visit the Gold Coast in the future.
