Conveniently set in the centre of Beijing, Beijing Tangfu Nanluoguxiang Wang Fu Jing Forbidden City Boutique Hotel is within 1.6 km of Shichahai Area and 2.3 km of Yonghegong Temple. I booked this hotel last minute- I came in and was greeted by the nicest, kindest receptionists! There was always one staff member who spoke English and even when one of them did not speak great English, she still communicated efficiently with me using translation apps. Every single staff member was so kind and one even helped me carry bags to my room. They truly went above and beyond and were spectacular. Despite my last minute booking, they upgraded my room to a larger room with a terrace and tea nook. I was blown away at how clean, new, and comfortable this hotel was. It was safe, quiet, and lovely. The bathroom was so clean, updated, and everything smelled like green tea as that is the scent of their soaps. The location is also great as it is situated right in the middle of a well known hutuong. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you'll be in Beijing!

Located in Beijing CBD Guomao, JEN Beijing by Shangri-La is part of the fully integrated China World Complex, which includes premier malls, offices and restaurants. I loved everything about the hotel: the generous and modern design of the room and the bathroom (shower and toilet had a separate door), it’s location (even though I was told that the Business district was far from everything) and the mall inside the building with tons of restaurants to chose from. The had the king room with skyline view and it was fantastic! We never stayed in a hotel where they leave you special bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush and shampoo for children. Also they gave us fresh fruit everyday! When we checked out I had left a bracelet in the room and they contacted me and informed me About that. In other hotel I would have to call. All the staff was very nice and even the ones who did not speak English so well tried really hard! We will definitely come back. my son and my husband were super surprised about the amazing gym! One of the best they have ever been too. And the large pool was also great to exercise! Everything wow about the hotel!
