The property was beautiful. We opted for a private suite and were not disappointed. Journey is located in a great spot walking distance from El Zaino entrance at Tayrona National Park. It was a fantastic place to arrive to, meet interesting travellers, and hike into the park from. We honestly wished that we had an extra day just to spend at the hostel because the vibes were awesome. Staff were also super friendly and helpful, especially Jimmy! All the meals were superb, especially the family dinners. Could not recommend this place enough!

The photos don't do this Hostel justice, the gardens around the huts and the surrounding mountain are amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the pool is decent, and the food is great. Getting the bus to Tayrona National Park was super easy too, wait on the main road for next bus (blue, white, and green, running every 10/15 minutes) and be at the main park entrance in 7 minutes. Would also recommend going to Mendihuaca beach (pronounced mendy-whacker), use the same bus as Tayrona, just a few stops further down.

This place was beautiful and relaxing. The hotel feels more like an upscale B&B as the ladies running the place are always there for whatever you need. It has an on-site restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner both nights. The pool was incredibly nice to help soothe our legs after hiking over 8 miles in Tayrona National Park (which is only 5 minutes away by car). The hotel itself is in a complex of 8 hotels which all have their own facilities. We enjoyed the tiki bar (Sierra Bar) at the nearby Maloka Lodge as well.

Great hostel and concept! Amazing location with beautiful views. Happy hour cocktails were a lovely treat after hiking 2 days in Tayrona National Park. I was happy with the dorm room I had booked, so when I won an upgrade to a wonderful private cabin I was super super happy 😃. Apparently the owners do this if there’s a free cabin. What a unique and lovely touch! Special thanks to Michelle on reception - helpful and friendly! Wi-Fi was great in the area above reception and I was able to have a work call no problem.

The location was a perfect starting point for a hike into Tayrona National Park - the Calabazo entrance to the park is only 300 metres from the hotel. The grounds were lovely - a bit close to the road so the charm was not in exclusivity but everything else was wonderful. The restaurant is open all day (including breakfast at 6 am) so you can come and go as you please in line with your hikes. The pool was also clean and perfect for relaxing! The room was cool and air conditioned.

A wonderfully welcoming, family-run business. The hostess was exceptionally warm, and our room was immaculate. The laundry service was outstanding, with my clothes returned perfectly folded. Breakfast was excellent, and the pool area was beautifully decorated. We truly felt at home at this hostel, which also offers great value. Conveniently located just a short walk from the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona National Park. Highly recommended!

What a great eco-lodging experience! Unique cabanas open on the sea with incredible views! Excellent food at the restaurant. The terrace of the dining room has a spectacular view on the rio (you can see caimans) and on the sea. Staff very helpful, and bilingual (not so frequent in Colombia). Great massages at the spa on site. The pool is super pleasant. Perfect location for visiting the Tayrona National Park, only a 5 min drive away.

A fabulous eco-hotel near to Tayrona National Park. Victor the manager is superb, super friendly and gave us great advice on the park. Our suite was just lovely. There is some noise from the road but it does not spoil the lovely pool (very clean!) and down by the river you cannot hear it. The staff are all wonderful, especially Marybelle and Dora. Highly recommended and will be returning with our boys.

Everything was perfect! The property was clean and stunning, every staff member was super nice and willing to help out, the room was large, spacious, and had great AC and Wifi. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit. It was a 7 minute walk or so from the hotel over to the entrance of Tayrona National Park, so it was perfect for us. We were able to eat breakfast and head out.

Villa Yira is a beautiful, family owned place. Its managed in a very personalised / chill way and this creates a cosy atmosphere. We were really impressed by the cabins that they built. The location is ideal for trips to/from Tayrona national park. Amazing swimming pool & The owners were super flexible - thanks for having us, Hanna & Octavio!

While Tayrona National Park is extremely turisty and crowdy, a stay at Los Naranjos offers similar views and (acces to) beaches but in a much more tranquile and comfortable environment. Hotel is super nice, delicious food and very calm ... it almost felt as a private stay. If we ever return to Colombia, Casa Bambu is a must to revisit !

Absolutely loved our stay! The staff were so friendly, the best service we had in Colombia. The food was delicious, especially the French toast! It’s a perfect location if you want to visit Tayrona National park. The calibre of this hotel is high for this area, highly recommend! We would love to go back in a heart beat.

Great location just 5mins walk from the entrance of Tayrona National Park. The hostel has a beautiful pool and lovely bar. We left our luggage safely in a locked room while we visited the park which was really handy! The staff were really lovely and accommodating - thank you again for a great stay!

Very nice and helpful staff. In the morning they even take you to the entrance of tayrona national park by car. The breakfast was very good and the terrace was very nice. I liked the look of the hostel in general. The shared kitchen was totally fine with a nice sitting area.

Cute Hotel with nice little huts on the way up. The dorm was at the top with a wonderful view. You're pretty near to the entrance of the tayrona national park (about 20' by foot). There was some noise from the highway, just bring some earplugs and you'll be fine.

This is an absolutly hidden "gem" in Colombia's Tayrona National Park; the location, setting and service exceeded our expectations. The food was marvelous; the bar next to the beach has a perfect location to watch and enjoy the sundown.

Romantic hotel in the canopy with great views of the area. Comfortable beds and good shower. Tastefully decorated. Very good restaurant. Very friendly staff. Nice refuge after a day of hiking with not and out of Tayrona National Park

Our best stay in Colombia! The room offered all the comfort you need. Excellent food and the views are amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is a 5-min drive away from Tayrona national park.

An oasis of calm steps from the beautiful Tayrona National Park. Food is delicious, staff were incredible, our villa was beautiful...we really loved our stay & we were so sad to leave! Hope we can return some day :)
