Amazing location surrounded by trees, stunning huge huts with palm leaf roof, air con, massive bed, showers were lush and each hut had their own outside plunge pool on decking along with sun beds - ours wasn’t overlooked and was surrounded by trees and overlooked the river. There was also a beautiful infinity pool, bar and restaurant. Staff were brilliant.

This was my second stay at Senda Koguiwa and I continue to be very pleased with the experience. The staff are helpful and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the location near the river is simply beautiful. I was able to check in early, which was very convenient. The views are incredible, the eco-friendly approach is commendable, and the overall surroundings filled with nature make for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. The territory of the hotel is well-maintained and adds to the charm.

The location is stunning. We loved the swimming pool which created an ínfinity´effect with the sea. The sunbeds were great on the beach The villa was stunning. Every detail had been thought of and I´d wished we´d stayed longer to take advantage of everything in the kitchen!. I loved the outdoor terrace and mosquito netted doors if you didn´t want the main doors closed were an excellent idea to let in air during the hottest days. Everything was very tasteful and stylish. Beautiful place.

Set in Los Naranjos, 100 metres from Playa de Mendihuaca, Casa Xue Tayrona - Alma Hotels offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Casa Xue had only been open for a month when we stayed so we weren't sure what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations! The location is beautiful and very easy to access from the public bus (which can let you off right in front of the driveway at Mile 36 if you're coming from Santa Marta). The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed (refrigerator, balcony, AC). The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The thing that really pleasantly surprised us was how exceptional the food was! We ate 5 meals here and they were all delicious. We even asked for sandwiches to go when we were leaving because we knew it would be better than anything on the road. Since there is only one person cooking at each meal time, the food does take a while but this actually ended up being lovely because we chatted with other guests from all over the world while we waited and enjoyed tasty cocktails.

The breakfast is great and they have a bar/restaurant right at the beach with an amazing chef. All the staff is super friendly. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the little paradise there.

We loved it! The place is amazing, it is right next to a river and the rooms were absolutely beautiful, comfortable, quiet and nice. You feel in a paradise, the staff is amazing, the food is incredible and the whole place makes you feel alive! The owner prepares Fiambres (lunch to go that is wrapped in plantain leaves) and everyone should buy it and try it! It is sooooo delicious! It was in our top trip of best food during our whole 15 days trip! So thank you so much Cachaco Hostel! We will definitely come back!

YAY Sustainable provides accommodation with a garden-to-table restaurant with white protein options, a yoga shala, a jungle spa, a natural pool, a river beach, and a tranquil atmosphere. Our stay at YAY was incredible. We arranged transport from the bus terminal of Santa Marta - the driver met us as soon as we got off the bus, so our arrival was very smooth. The facilities are beautiful, the rooms, pool, restaurant and gardens are all very taken care of. Our room was very clean, and the food at the restaurant is very fresh and tasty, mostly plant-based with a few non-vegan options (eggs, fish, cow milk). The staff were super helpful with all of our questions, and we very easily arranged transportation to Tayrona and a nearby beach. There is barely any noise, the environment of the hotel is super relaxing.
