Set in Basthorst, 35 km from Hamburg Central Station, Landhaus Hamester - Hotel & Restaurant offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Lovely breakfast, eggs cooked to order and we ordered scrambled for two, more than enough. Quiet country location and easy parking. Dining room not open on Mondays! Not a problem they directed us to a lovely restaurant 300 yds away. Will return.

Built in 1908, this elegant hotel is located just 500 metres from the River Elbe in Geesthacht. The Holsteiner Hof offers free Wi-Fi. It's quite a nice and decent hotel. The owner couple are all very friendly and kind. Everything was very well take care of. Highly recommend this hotel for others.

We stopped here on the way from Norway to southern Europe. The place is perfect for that. The place was clean and the breakfast was all right.

Located directly on the banks of the River Elbe, Hotel Elbblick is surrounded by lush countryside in the town of Geesthacht. It is just 35 km away from the bustling centre of Hamburg. Terrific food, especially the Salzkartoffeln. The view of the River Elbe is fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

This inviting hotel is located at the Küchensee Lake in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park. Hotel Farchauer Mühle offers large country-style rooms and its own boat and bathing platform. The hotel is tucked a away near the lake. Even though the property is quite big it instills the feeling of remote tranquility. The room was spacious, quiet, and had great views. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly, helpful and always went the extra mile. Food in the adjacent restaurant was exceptional.
