The personal service and how clean the room was,beds were very comfortable and even though breakfast wasn’t included every day they supplied our room with fruit and snacks.

Located just 200 metres from Sardinero Beach, this boutique hotel offers elegant décor themed around different world cities. The stylish, air-conditioned rooms include free Wi-Fi, LED TV and a safe. We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Le Petit! Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were fantastic, and our room was impeccably clean. It was my second time staying there, and it certainly won't be the last! Definitely my favourite spot in Santander.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Everything was spotless with great attention to detail including the garage! Very comfy bed. A few minutes walk to the centre of Santillana del mar. A few minutes drive to see the impressive caves of Altamira. Used it as a base to visit different areas of Cantabria.

The views were amazing, specially the sunset which you could enjoy with a good glass of wine from the hotel bar. The hosts Eduardo and Silvia were awesome, always happy to help and recommend new places to visit, eat, etc. They will treat you like family. I also would highly recommend the activities they have at the hotel such as yoga, surf or paddle surf. Overall it has been an amazing week and we were able to get to know not only main Cantabria highlights but also Ajo surroundings, which were a truly discovery! We cannot wait to come back!

Facing the beachfront, Villa Playa San Juan offers 4-star accommodation in Soto de la Marina and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. We stayed in the room at the top of the villa. The view from the bedroom was spectacular. We had a clear view of the beach and the ocean. The patio was huge and totally private. We had our 2 dogs with us. They had freedom to run on the patio. It was surrounded by a glass balcony partition which added to the views but kept my dogs safe. The owner Manuela fully took time out to tell us where to go for the best restaurants and where to go sightseeing. Extremely helpful. If you want relaxation in a paradise location this is the place to book. I will definitely revisit this place.
