They spoke English, were always there to assist with a smile, and made sure we felt at home. It was nice that the restaurant and bar were reserved for hotel guests that their friends only. The menu offered enough choice and the food was delicious. Manoir Hastings was a quiet retreat during the hussle and bussle of the 80th anniversary of D-Day celebrations, but allowed us to be in the middle of it all. We even walked the path along the river all the way to Ouistreham. The private gardens were beautiful as well. We would love to stay here again, and will definitely recommend it to friends.

There is a garage for which you pay a daily fee. We also enjoyed the food in the onsite restaurant: a varied bistro menu, generous portions & a complementary Calvados. The size of hotel means it is good for groups, but spacious enough to not be crowded.

A very nice hotel in an ancient building that has been kept as original as possible. Nice and helpful staff that even carries your suitcase up the stairs (no elevator). The food, albeit not really cheap, is excellent. Choice of wines is excellent, deserts with afterwards a coffee and calvados are a must.

A beautiful typically French hotel perfectly located for omaha beach. We drove to the port du bassin for an evening meal, literally 10 minutes away with plenty of parking. Breakfast was amazing and we even purchased some apple juice and calvados jam to take with us on our onward journey.

The property was beautiful. There were acres for walking and bike riding. Our garden room had outdoor seating. there were many indoor rooms for relaxing or drinking. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. It has everything you could want to eat. The staff was all friendly.

We stayed here for 5 days four nights. It was a great location. We could walk for ice cream or dinner everyday and every night. I went to the beach often and found seaglass and really pretty stones. We had a couple massages that were great. We enjoyed the upstairs patio where we could lay out and read our books. The bartenders are very friendly and enjoyed having a drink every night.

Before we left we had a great massage. One of the most relaxing hotels I have ever visited. Can't recommend this place enough!
