Chateau de Rigny, Saône Nehri kıyısında 5 hektarlık bir parkta yer almaktadır. Tesiste park ve açık yüzme havuzu ile tenis kortu manzaralı bir teras vardır. If your criteria for traveling are to stay in authentic places, at the opposite of banal and impersonal hotels, please put the Chateau de Rigny on your stay-over and vacation plans. We loved it although we only stayed one night on our voyage between Switzerland and Belgium. The place is beautifull even when the weather is cold and drizzling. One is immerged immediately in history dating many centuries. Before dinner we savoured the house apperitif in front of a cosy fireplace in the main salon surrounded with ancient books and hunting trophees. The dinner was excellent in a grandiose room: we felt like royalty. We chose the wild boar and scallops accompained by a nice glass of local wine. No surprise that the restaurant gets high rates. After a good night sleep, we took our breakfast in the winter garden, fully glazed towards the park. The total bill defies any stay we had in other hotels: we would call it democratic! This is a place of dreams. In summer it must be out of this world. As one can guess from this review, we deeply fell in love with the Chateau de Rigny.

Modern and spacious room, excellent breakfast, very friendly host. We arrived late, too late for dinner at the property (it stops serving quite early), but we were offered that a meal could be prepared and left in the fridge for us to warm up. We preferred to stop on the way, but it was nice to have to option.

This hotel was a nice surprise. When we arrived, we discovered that it was under reconstruction, but a room was ready for us and no noises disturbed us during the stay. In the room, we were happy to discover a brand-new shining shower and other newly installed equipment. A british-style 2-tub sink was a bit of surprise, but it did not bother us. The room was fine and big enough, the bed was comfortable, and all was nice. All was very clean. The stuff was super-friendly, especially the hotel owner was nice to us. And the breakfast!! It was superb! I’d stay there again for the breakfast alone. All in all, it’s an extremely nice place with excellent breakfast, very well suited for and warm-welcoming cycling or hiking travellers. It’s a real gem on the road! Maybe the only thing that we'd recommend to add would be a door or at least a curtain separating the toilet from the room. Even though there is sort of a wall, it feels... unusual. Probably it's in the reconstruction plans...

Vesoul şehir merkezinde yer alan Grand hotel du Nord, tren istasyonuna 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Otel, uydu TV ve ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimi içeren en-suite banyolu odalar sunmaktadır. Great location in the center of town. Comfortable and clean room though a bit cramped. Staff throughout hotel was cordial and accommodating.
