Surrounded by vineyards and woodland, this hotel is located in the South of Bourgogne between Lyon and Macon. It offers an on-site wine museum with wines from the hotel’s estate. The owner upgraded us to a wonderful cabin with a kitchenette at no charge. She provided us with some great food to eat and wine since the restaurant had already closed. Very comfortable beds and walk in shower. Extremely quiet!

Le Moulin du Gastronome is a 10-minute drive from the A6 motorway. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded garden. Each guest room is soundproofed, air-conditioned and has a flat-screen TV. STAFF: we personally just dealt with Yannick (co-owner) of the place and his professionalism, friendliness and helpfullness goes above and beyond. He is multi talented as he leads the entire front of house and ensure all the guest are looked after. I have been in the hospitality business for a decade and I can tell you that Yannick is the real deal. FOOD: the menu was awesome. It changes every 15 days and the chef makes very creative presentation and also extremely delicious. Hats off to the chef and you will definitely leave the restaurant with a smile. They do have an extensive wine menu and you can always get a recommendation from Yannick ROOMS: The rooms are nice and clean and the ground floor room has large windows that makes it pleasant during the summer I would personally recommend anybody to check in n have an experience here! I wish the establishment and team best of luck.

Built on the remainings of a Benedictine abbey, this 3-star hotel is in the centre of Cluny. Built in 1817, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi access and drinks can be served in the lounge or outside. Spectacular location right next to the site of the historic Cluny Abbey. Beautiful, gentile hotel with amazing staff, who were very helpful in finding dinner locations/reservations. Comfortable rooms/beds. Lovely breakfast looking out at the abbey. Convenient and accessible parking on site. We loved it here.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were incredible and the restaurant was a dream! This hotel is well worth it and Beaujolais is such a quaint, friendly and lovely place to visit. Definitely recommend!
