With fantastic views of Rothiemurchus Forest and the Cairngorm Mountains, the High Range Lodge Hotel offers spacious rooms with original artwork by local artists. We were surprised by the size and quality of the apartment. There was even a large decorated Christmas tree in the living room. Everything was perfect and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Convenient to House Of Brauer. It has a wonderful roaring log fire. The staff are attentive, helpful, and friendly. The bedroom was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was OK. It must be extremely difficult to cater at this time of year.

Perfectly located for hill walking, climbing, fishing, the Malt Whisky Trail, golf and all winter sports, this independently-owned hotel is found in the heart of Aviemore, in the Cairngorms. God we loved this place. Presents beautifully from the street and the charm continues as you walk inside. Room was clean and bed comfy. We had some drinks in the pub and then dinner in the restaurant - both great.
