Dunster Castle Hotel is located in the medieval village of Dunster. Free WiFi access is available. All rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower. Dunster village is beautiful, very historical and picturesque. We were pleasantly surprised with Dunster Castle Hotel. Our hosts were very helpful and gave us a warm welcome. We had 2 rooms, both comfortable. There is parking behind the hotel. We were in the centre of the village so it's lovely to explore, we also went down to the beach and to see the old train station. Our breakfast was very good, a lovely place to stay.

With a restaurant and a bar onsite, The Bath Arms Hotel offers adult-only accommodation in the picturesque village of Cheddar. The Cheddar Gorge Caves are just 10 minutes' walk away. The staff were incredible - interested, intelligent, welcoming, inobtrusive. The food was excellent (we dined there in the evening), the room lovely, with a spacious bathroom; a superb mattress and perfect night's sleep.

The check-in was seamless, David and Caroline were superb hosts, and our room was the best! The directions were also clear, and the suggestion for a restaurant for dinner was spot on.

The Flying Fish Stables is a traditional country pub in the quaint village of Windmill Hill. It offers home-cooked food, real ales and individually designed rooms. Taunton is 15 km away. Contrasting with "upmarket" chain hotels I've stayed in recently it was great - the TV was an ACTUAL smart TV which was NOT the case in a Voco or a holiday Inn express. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant belonging to the property serves first class cuisine and reasonably priced

In the Exmoor National Park, the 13th-century Luttrell Arms offers medieval features and picturesque gardens. Delicious breakfast ....very good assortment of pastries , cerals, fruits. The hot choices were very good and cooked to perfection. We loved the staff. They were all wonderful esp Jules, Freya, Lucy, Charlie. Dinner was superb. The fish n chips were an A+++ and we are from New England. The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.

Situated in Yeovil, 36 km from Golden Cap, Shepherds Huts Ham Hill, 2 double beds, Bathroom, Lounge, Diner, Kitchen, LOVE dogs & Cats Looking out to lake and by Ham Hill Country Park plus parking for... Dean and Georgie were the best host we have ever come across, you could tell our enjoyment was there only aim. The village is absolutely beautiful/ the room was clean/ the freedom i felt was 2nd to none. If you are after marble flooring and shiny things then book room at Ritz but you are after natural beauty everywhere you look and hosts which would go the extra mile to make you feel welcome than look no further. we loved our stay and defo will be back. Big Thank you.

West Somerset Railway on ehdottomasti paikan kohokohta. Tämä on todennäköisesti mailman pisin museorautatie joka ajaa päivittäin höyryvetureilla. Käydessämme oli ajossa kaksi höyyvedollista junaparia päivässä. Lisäksi oli vielä kolmas höyryveturi koulutusajossa ja moottorijunarunko siirtoajossa. Costal walk polku, joka seuraa rantaviivaa, on myös itsessän nähtävyys ja tarjoaa erinomaiset näköalat. Paikalliset suosivat Weatherspoon pubia päivällisikaan. Tämä on hyvän laatuinen, rauhallinen ja kohtuuhintainen. Kalliitakin ruokapaikkoja löytyy sataman läheltä.
