Amazing stay!!! Everything was great!!! We came for a 2 day relaxing break and it ticked all the boxes. Rooms amazing, clean, elegant, great shower, great beds, great breakfast, great staff.

The best part of our breakfast was being greeted and served by Marina. She understands the assignment and aces it every time. Marina is a rare gem! The food itself was very delicious. We shall most positively be visiting and staying with The Crown and Anchor again.

The Kings Head is situated in Whiteparish, 14 km from Salisbury Cathedral. Located around 17 km from Old Sarum, the hotel is also 20 km away from Salisbury Racecourse. The location suited our needs, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast chef was a star, he was funny and communicated well with us , making it a good start to the day, nothing was to much trouble for him.

We stayed at Elderbrook House for a quick visit to the Avebury stones. We were welcomed and shown to our room even though we turned up well before check-in time. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was filling and delicious. The property is only a few miles from Avebury. There aren't many accommodation options close to the stones so it is nice that this one is a gem. Would recommend.

England’s oldest hotel (from 1220) in England’s first capital offers quintessentially English service and hospitality. I've traveled around the world for both personal and business reasons, and this place is one of the best I've ever seen. The staff is amazing, helpful and nice and the room was spotless clean and had, apart from tea and coffee and some amazing cookies, a lot of useful info about the hotel and places to see around. The hotel is an amazing combination between the crazy old building and the old style but new furniture; the building is beautiful, right next to a beautiful abbey. The village is beautiful, small, with narrow roads, nice people and great food. The breakfast was amazing, I had the poached eggs bagel that was PERFECT. 100 points out of 10 for everything, the experience was perfect and I will, for sure, come back again!
