I Panajachel, 46 kilometer fra Atitlán-vulkanen, ligger Hotel-Villas JABEL TINAMIT, som har en hage og gratis privat parkering. We had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was super delicious, a highlight for us. There also is a very nice garden area and many common areas to sit with a nice view of the garden or on the roof. The hosts and all workers were very kind. We also liked the ease of having a key to the outside gate so you can go and come whenever you want while still being super safe. Parking was very convenient and safe.

The owners Gaby & Jochen are wonderfully friendly and always available to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The property is nestled in the heart of nature, offering peace, tranquility, and a unique connection to the environment. Another rare and much-appreciated feature in Guatemala is the availability of hot water—a small luxury that makes a big difference. Lastly, everything is impeccably clean and well-maintained, showing the care and effort the owners put into every detail. If you're looking for a magical stay at Lake Atitlán with excellent service, delicious food, and an unforgettable experience in nature, Hotel El Picnic is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Set in Sololá, Hotel Casa Palopo boasts a garden and terrace. With free WiFi, this hotel has a shared lounge and a bar. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. The view is unbeatable and the facilities are beautiful and feel truly luxurious. The bathrooms are large and you've never had such a view while taking a shower. There's so many little details added to make the stay so very special. It was a unique and unforgettable experience. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything you need. We stayed on the higher level rooms located 150 steps up, near to the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was always worth climbing up with those incredible views of the lake. I stayed in various places around the lake and this view was just unmatchable.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and located at the edge of Lake Atitlán, Hotel Toliman is set in San Lucas Tolimán in the Solola Region, 45 km from Antigua Guatemala. The grounds of this hotel are spectacular! It is right by the dock, so it is easy to walk to the property. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, considering that there are not a lot of options for dining (we were on foot). The food is exceptional, and plenty of it comes from their organic garden, of which we had a lovely tour. The hotel website offers full details of how community minded and eco-friendly this business is. The pool looks odd because it is dark. However, I imagine it helps heat the water, along with the solar panels. If you are looking for a couple of days in paradise, this is the place. And the view from the restaurant 🤩

Offering a restaurant and a private beach area in Atitlán Lake, Hotel La Casa del Mundo is located in El Jaibalito. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, amazing food. Would definitely go back!!

I Panajachel, 48 kilometer fra Atitlán-vulkanen, ligger Reserva Natural Atitlan, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. After staying in 3 towns, this was my favourite stay in Lake Atitlan. Set away from the hustle and bustle, the lodge is set in the middle of reserve (meaning you don’t pay access like external visitors). The room itself was huge! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and super comfortable. My favourite part was sitting on the extensive balcony, overlooking the reserve, and listening to the birds singing whilst having a morning coffee. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant menu had plenty of options at a reasonable price. Easy 10min to walk into town - although you do need to walk along a main road for part of it, or take a tuk tuk. Highly recommend!

Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. Just an incredible experience. I could not ask for more, most beautiful surroundings/views, great breakfast and relaxed atmosphere by the pool with refreshing drinks made by the bar staff

Big room and comfortable bed. Lake view from the balcony. Beautiful and very clean swimming pool. About 15 minutes walk to town but tuk tuk are easy to find and cheap. (5 Q per person). Breakfast was included. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Great stay.
