One of the things that I enjoyed about this hotel was that in the evenings the guests are entertained with live music performance. My favorite was the man who played Spanish and Gypsie music. He created a fun atmosphere. The lobby also hosts some very nice art work by a local artists. Gylula is a city that has a lot to offer their visitors. I think, it was one of the loveliest cities I have seen in Hungary and also one of the cleanest. I especially liked visiting the museum next door that showed how the Hungarian aristocracy used to live.

Situated in a quiet area in Békéscsaba, a 10-minute walk from the city centre, Munkácsy Hotel offers free WiFi, free air conditioning, a 24-hour reception, a wellness area and a restaurant. We absolutely loved it here, we were very well received and it was one of the most pet-friendly hotel we've ever stayed in (we received a litter box for our cat, a blanket and a sign for the door to let staff know the pet is in the room). We enjoyed the spa very much, it was very clean and it has everything you need for relaxing. The room was big enough, with plenty of amenities and a nice big bathroom, we especially loved the roof windows through which you could see the sky at night. The breakfast was delicious, a lot of options, vegetables and fruit, we did not miss anything. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the city!

Staff is very helpful, speaks English with no problem. Meals and breakfast are in great quality and in excellent value/spent ratio. Enough space for parking. Spacious rooms with balcony or small terrace.

The stylish Corso Boutique Hotel is located right in the centre of Gyula, a 10-minute walk from the Castle Spa. It features air-conditioned rooms and a modern spa area. Nice hotel, helpful staff, great breakfast with good variety. Wellness area is nice but the whirlpool has minimal capacity (3 people max comfortably).

Our Elizabeth Hotel awaits you in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities of the Southern Plain, only 200 metres away from the renowned Várfürdő Spa, neighbouring the medieval castle. The garden and the outdoor pool are wonderful, very relaxing, we spend the whole day here, just reading and seat on the sunbeds. If you're looking for this kind of thing, is the right place. The location is the best in Gyula, you can't find a better view of the castle. Bathroom is large, modern with a good size of the shower cabine.
