Villa Bagus has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Gili Air. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. I loved absolutely everything. Our first plan was to stay for a week, but decided to extend for 3 more days. The hospitality starting from arrival was exceptional. The same young boys were responsible for everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, gardening, but they did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. It was my first experience to live under the mango tree and as it was a harvesting season, we had fresh mangos available most of the time. Location was in a middle of the island, but very easy access to the beach. Many warungs around for different taste.

My favorite hotel in the ~8 I’ve stayed at in two months in Bali/Gili/Lombok. Ended up extending and stayed two weeks. Rooms are large, tastefully designed, and quite comfortable. Pool is gorgeous. Staff is great. Wifi fast (50-70) and steady. Gym next door is one of best I’ve ever seen in my life.
