On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. We had a great stay at Leenane Hotel. It's a very well maintained place with great rooms, excellent food and friendly staff. It's also dog friendly which is a rare thing in the area. What really stood out as well - the price we paid was more than fair.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Screebe House offers accommodation in Rosmuck, 36 km from Galway. Screebe House is right on the water in a very quiet remote area. It was so very peaceful. The dinner was absolutely superb in every way from presentation to delectable taste. The breakfast was without a doubt unforgettable in that the croissant just melted in your mouth, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The staff was also so accommodating, personal touches!

Within 30 acres of private woodland, Rosleague Manor Hotel provides luxurious accommodation near Ballinakill Bay. Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. Just superb in every way. Sinners in tbe “greenhouse” were exquisite. This is my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland. Ray, the manager, holds up the tradition that the late, great Kaye maintains ed for decades. The Cashel House is a national treasure. See above.

Our room was lovely with a four poster bed. I had the seafood chowder and sirloin steak.... Both were cooked to perfection. The place was spotless with that lovely wood burning aroma u only get with an open fire.

On the edge of beautiful, scenic Connemara and with magnificent sea views over Ardbear Bay, this charming hotel offers individually decorated en suite rooms and a superb award-winning restaurant. The views from the garden and around in the area are great. Nice areas for easy walks nearby. Very comfortable and spacious guest lodge. Pet-friendly (would have brought our dog)

Surrounded by private parkland on the shores of the Atlantic, Renvyle House features a golf course, swimming pool and award-winning restaurant. My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.
