On the banks of the River Nore in the heart of the medieval city of Kilkenny, this 4-star Kilkenny River Court Hotel offers free WiFi. We were upgraded to a suite- it was stunning! Staff at family party were excellent particularly Brazilian lady- sorry I didn't get her name. Hotel wss really accommodating for family group. Porridge was lovely.

Situated in Castlecomer, 18 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, Avalon House Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. The breakfast was great value for money very nice the room was a nice size had the window open because got a bit to warm and we did have the smell of the cooking which was the only thing wrong
