The friendliness of one of the owners truly made our stay. She was very accommodating and even flexible with our checkin/checkout times to help with our circumstances. Great breakfast, super comfortable and recently renovated.

The recently renovated rooms are unbelievably amazing! You walk right out to the lake. And you can see the Aurora from right outside. Beautifully designed and upgraded, the stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. Strongly recommended.

Reykjavik Residence combines hotel services with self-catering apartments that offer flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and modern kitchen facilities. There are so many thoughtful details that have made our stay so wonderful, from the calming and simple interiors to the kitchen stocked with all the items you may need: pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Finding milk and apple juice in the fridge with cornflakes in the cupboard? Such a nice touch. Check in was easy and they were very accommodating of special requests.

Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. The staff were amazing. All of them were kind, friendly polite and beyond helpful. Special thanks to Dimitria. The cleaning team did amazing job every day as well. The room was clean warm and spacious. The hotel was in the center of the city close to at least 3 of the main bus stops in Reykjavík. We also had breakfast in the cozy and cute lobby area where you can also order drinks if you want. In the common area of the hotel they are serving you free coffee or tee, cake and croissants through the cold days which serves them with bonus points. Definitely recommend!

There was a mistake for my booking through booking.com, so booking.com mixed up my reservation with someone else’s. But the employee managed it very well! We loved how helpful they were. The hub is very comfortable, clean and, what I didn’t expect, quite. For one to two nights a very very good option. Would book it again.

Great location, right in the heart of the city!! You can reach anything around the main attractions within a 5-10 minute walk. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! The room is clean and has a great layout with plenty of counter space and mirrors with great lighting. The shower has good pressure and it has great amenities in the room such as: a fridge, nespresso machine, and kettle. The beds are comfy. The light layout actually makes sense in the rooms. The spa and gym are super accessible and easy to schedule. Overall, this hotel was amazing! Will definitely be back!
