Situated in Kanazawa, less than 1 km from Kanazawa Castle, THE HOTEL SANRAKU KANAZAWA 21th December 2022 OPEN features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This is a gorgeous hotel with lovely welcoming employees. The lobby is absolutely stunning. The room we had, 377 had a huge bed, a comfortable lounge chair, a closet and the biggest, most well stocked bathroom of any of our hotels. It did not face the interior garden which I would have preferred had I known but was still fabulous. This hotel will not disappoint. The buffet breakfast, even for a vegetarian was exceptional.

The staff is formal, while remaining extremely welcoming. The location is a bit of a distance from city center but still walkable, with lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Loved the jazz bar next door too!

Great location and they include all the amenities like all Japanese hotels: shampoo, razors, etc. Personal was very gentle. The smell of coffee was amazing, however, we didn't not have time to try it :(.

Very close to the main attractions of Kanazawa castle, Kenrokuen gardens, modern art museum and the samurai district. The geisha district (Higashi Chaya) was a little further away but still walkable. The Taiwanese breakfast was interesting, but might not be to everyone’s taste.

The coastal drive from Noto via Suzu was beautiful. In Wajima there was a free Gojingo Daiko performance at the kiriko museum. The morning market was enjoyable. The Ishikawaken Wajimashitsugei Museum was worth visiting.

Kanazawa is an elegant and quaint city in the ishikawa prefecture. People are friendly and seem to be a little more conservative than other cities in Japan. It is a beautiful city and I will keep on visiting this city to discover more whenever I get to visit Japan again. I have definitely left my heart in Kanazawa for its hospitality and beauty.

The public bath and location was the biggest highlight and easily the main reason why I would re-visit Kanazawa just to re-book the hotel! Conveniently close to Kanazawa Station! Breakfast waaaas incredible, shame I only added to one day of my stay, should’ve added it to every single day. This hotel introduced me to Ishikawa specialty Kaga-boucha, and honestly may as well be my new fave tea! So delicious! And on that note, their Kaga-boucha pudding offered in their breakfast buffet - heavenly! I’ve thought about it every day since!

They treat you like a VIP. I was impressed. The staff was wonferful, the place is very spacious (largest hotel room we ever stayed at in Japan. We didn't even use one of the rooms) and beautiful, the onsen WOW-Loved it! Kaiseki dinner was sooo delcious. We stayed there two nights and each night the Kaiseki dinners were different. Both dinners exceeded expectations. The breakast was a buffet. Yummy! My friend and I really loved staying here. This was the best hotel of all 4 hotels we stayed at. I would without a doubt stay here again! Thank you Rurikoh for making our trip very memorable.

Amazing ryokan located in the picturesque Yamanaka village. The staff was very professional and caring. The room was spacious, with coffee and tea sets ready to use. We enjoyed the onsen, the yukatas, the afternoon pancakes, the evening drinks, the geiko performance and everything else very much. The food was delicious, both in Kissho and in their Sister hotel (free bar and unlimited tempura there). Honestly for everything we got the price was very reasonable. We even got a special celebration with cake, drinks and gift for my husband's birthday.

This place was a big surprise almost at the end of our trip: you enter the lobby and some (paper) cherry blossoms fall down ... The very nice room had a view towards the river. The lobby has many features from sweets, to rice cakes, plenty of choices for a yukata (yes, big sizes, too!) and soft ice at night. The private baths are nice and need a prebooking upon arrival for the afternoon and evening. Should have stayed more than one night ...
