We had a very enjoyable stay at the Novotel! The room was nice and clean - and good value for money. The hotel is spacious and has lovely decor for a chain; it incorporates lots of Kenyan elements to make it feel unique. And all of the staff couldn't have been more friendly. For example, Stephen was great when we checked in, sorting our bags for us and showing us round, and Lydia was very attentive at breakfast. The Askaris on the gate were also great when getting ubers at night, stationed outside the gate and ensuring we got in the car ok.

Kenya is a lovely country, one of my favs, but forget about Nairobi. Crowd and bastard police to try to milk you. As an expereienced traveler they can not frighten me, but I can imagine how many foreign tourists canbe targeted by thepolice just for money... they should be prisoned...
