My wife and I recently stayed at Ecoboo Hotel for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience! Right from the start, we were treated to exceptional service. After arriving on the island, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager. As a welcome, we received delicious drinks and personalized glass water bottles, which was a lovely touch! 😊One of the standout features of Ecoboo is its sustainable approach to water sourcing, as they produce their own water on-site. Our stay was truly unforgettable, with delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff. Every day, there were exciting excursions available for us to enjoy.The island itself is stunning, home to fascinating wildlife such as bats, herons, and eagles. At night, sharks come close to the shore, adding to the unique experience. The hotel’s style and atmosphere are both unique and captivating.We highly recommend Ecoboo Hotel for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful stay in the Maldives! 😊

We just came back home and wondering from where to start this review. Rattehi Inn at Rakeedhoo absolutely went above all our expectations. New hotel with best staff and management who treat you like a family member. Hotel manager Niya lives the hospitality and will accommodate every request you ask. I hope we were not too demanding but literally what we asked it happened, from the tours off the island, special celebrations, additional dining options, everything. Menu in the restaurant is not long at the moment since they just started but we heard about plans to extend it a bit. Nevertheless, all meals prepared by the chef were wonderful. Buffet breakfast great as well every morning. Waiters Daminder and Eric and Houskeeper Baboo are kindest people we met, hard workers but always with sincere smile. Island by itself is the smallest inhabited in all Maldives, however there are a lot of options around and we are already making plans when we come back what to do. For the end if you are checking pictures of other islands, reading experiences of other people about Maldives or having any doubts just stop, nothing can be compared what Niya and his team can do here to make your vacation wonderful and make you sad on departure day, but with strong wish to come back again. We were picked up from the staff at the jetty and had a welcome drink on arrival. The room was spacious with a private balcony and a small clothesline. The bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned daily and bedding and towels (beach and bath) were changed after 2 days. There was access to coffee/tea and bottled water all day. The staff were always very friendly and were never too far away if we needed to ask a question. We were able to organise an excursion to swim with dolphins, turtles and coral garden for $55USD pp. There was free access to snorkelling equipment and beach toys. Complimentary Maldivian breakfast was great! Lunch and dinner are also available if ordered ahead and was pretty good. The island is small (only 700m x 200m) and Cowry Inn was very close to the bikini beach. However all beaches were walking distance. There are restaurants, souvenir shops and convenience stores located close by. The mosque is close by and the call to prayer is easily heard from the accomodation, however this wasn’t too disturbing and was part of the expected experience of staying on a local island. We arranged a public ferry $4USD pp (only on certain days of the week) to and from Male, but the motel also offered to arrange a speedboat for us for $40USD pp which run twice daily. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and felt like we were part of the Cowry Inn family.

Very well located. Clean. Brand new. Love the island. Great house reef and excursions. And the staff was just AMAZING. Full of very nice attentions. Like presents in front of our door for Christmas. And shared dinner with the staff. We loved it.
