The owner is very responsive. The apartment is clean and spacious and well maintained. My stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The apartment is close enough to the centre and walkable distance from major food joints (10-20 minutes). The issue with water that others mention are there but I did not mind it. I came to know about the water crisis in Oaxaca when I was traveling and I believe it’s our responsibility as tourists to be aware of local issues and adapt ourselves to the environment.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casa Pereyra. The rooms felt more like an apartment which was perfect for a longer stay (8 days). It was really nice to have an upstairs bedroom with a downstairs living space and 2 bathrooms. The front desk staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The location was good with a lot of restaurants nearby - it was a 5 minute walk to Zocalo and about 15-20 minutes to the Santo Domingo area. We would stay here again if we're visiting Oaxaca City.

Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel in Oaxaca. We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The hotel has only 4 rooms, two upstairs and two downstairs. The upstairs rooms are INCREDIBLE and both have a private patio with an outdoor bathtub. The breakfast is spectacular and served on the private patio. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! In fact, we'd come all the way back to Mexico just for this hotel!

The location was about 15-20 minutes walking from Oaxaca central, be prepared for steep hills. We enjoy walking but maybe a taxi is nice too. The street next to the apartments had nice little local shops to buy basics like fruit. There were some street taco stands that we enjoyed too. The security for the building was good. The apartment itself is ok. the host was responsive to some of our requests and needs, and we appreciated the effort they gave.

We had a fantastic time at Boulenc Bed & Bread. It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in and the exceptional staff go above and beyond. The location is fantastic and the roof terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and drinks throughout the day is great. The colours and styling of the hotel are just perfect so for anyone looking for a boutique hotel in Oaxaca, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Boulenc.

Very kind staff. Wonderful location near the center and the markets. The hostel has many activities and gives interesting tours in Oaxaca. Simple and good breakfast. Despite the accommodation in the dormitory there is a sense of privacy. The common spaces are pleasant and there are many seating areas on the balcony. All in all, this is the best hostel I could ask for❤️ I planned one night and stayed three.

From the time we met Carmelita upon arrival until we sadly embraced as wonderful friends 8 days later we were in Oaxacan heaven. She helped us with any of our needs. Location is near a great cooking school & Zocolo We hired an English speaking cab driver Guzeman for 8-12 hour excursions. A beautiful trip made perfect by this very large beautifully remodeled apartment with all amenities & more!

Hotel room was large and very well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, a very short walk to main city squares, bars, restaurants etc… Big bonus is that this hotel provides parking if you drive, a lot of the downtown hotels do not and finding parking is next to impossible. I feel like I knocked it out of the park selecting this hotel for my stay in Oaxaca!!

This beautiful small hotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It was our first time in Mexico and we couldn’t have picked a better place to visit the Oaxaca coast for the first time. Everything is to a very high standard, from the rooms to the pool area to the delicious breakfasts, the staff are incredibly friendly. The view is epic and it is a short walk down in to town.

Look no further. This is the best place to stay in Oaxaca. Perfect location, wonderful building, clean and spacious rooms, incredible breakfast, lovely and helpful staff, chilled and respectful atmosphere. And all this contributing to a better future for students in need. I can't recommend Hotel con Corazón more warmly. My stay has been memorable. Hope to be back very soon!

Everything about our stay was perfect! From the communication prior to arrival to the cleanliness of the facilities to the friendliness of the staff… I just can’t say enough positive things about our time at Hotel Siglo XVII. The hotel itself is unique and beautiful and the location is ideal for anything you might want to do in Oaxaca City. Hotel Siglo is top notch!

Love this boutique hotel near the center of Oaxaca! The friendly staff are very helpful and went the extra mile for us. Helped us with laundry (definitely get it done here, the price is so reasonable compared to big hotels), restaurant reservations, directions, etc. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast is delicious and the breakfast staff are very friendly.

I wish every hotel in the world was like Hotel Casona Oaxaca. The hotel is very clean, the location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is super friendly, the receptionist Nancy is doing an exceptional work (she helped me in an unexpected situation although it was out of her scope). I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel :)

I truly enjoyed staying at La Casona del Llano. The location was perfect, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the hotel was very clean, and the free wifi worked very well. It is a great value for the price. It exceeded my expectation in every way. I will stay there again when I return to Oaxaca.

I had a great stay at Yabanhi Hostel. Victor was especially helpful, the information about Oaxaca that I got from him was valuable, I used his recommendations to plan many of my days. The room was comfortable, clean and centrally located, and the rooftop patio is perfect for viewing the city, sunrises and sunsets.

What a beautiful spot in the heart of Oaxaca. The rooms are all themed according to regions of Mexico, and our room was full of decoration made of musical instruments. The rooftop was perfect, especially to watch the moon. It's an eco-friendly, conscious place to stay in a very clean, artistic city.

Our stay at Hotel Macondo Arte Oaxaca was a mix of impressive elements and notable disappointments. The hotel’s architecture and room facilities are undoubtedly of a high standard, with thoughtful design and attention to detail. The location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the city.

10 minute walk from Oaxaca's Historic Center. Private parking has enough room for 4 vehicles. Apartment has cozy living room area, large dining table, kitchen with fridge and kitchen appliances. Big bedroom, closet, bathroom with hot water. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Such a bad experience. My first time in Oaxaca. I travel around Mexico for years and never experience such a terrible place to stay in this beautiful place. I normally have the best experiences and great things to say mostly in the beautiful Mexico. But not in this B&B.

Good location. I had a great impression when I first arrived. It was pretty and clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was AMAZING. I learned they take food very seriously in Oaxaca and this hotel was no exception. The plating and flavors were excellent.
