I stayed at nHow Amsterdam RAI hotel from 1st to 5th April 2023 and I must say that this was really my best hotel experience ever. Positive experience with this hotel started from my reservation. I accidentally booked wrong type of room and hotel staff with the help of customers service from booking.com changed my reservation with no problem and no additional payments. Hotel welcomes you with pleasant and relaxing atmosphere - chill music on the background, free candies as a welcoming gesture for everyone and small, but well-designed lobby in pink tones, which gives you a very warm welcome from the first moment you enter. After very long and hard road, arriving there and seeing your friendly smiling stuff at the reception desks, talking with them while checking in was like a breath of fresh air to me. As an architect I adore exterior of the building, designed by one of my favourite bureaus OMA and I loved how building is designed inside as well. I booked Premium room with bath and view and that room was perfect for me. Room was located at 19th floor, so view was truly amazing, and I was lucky to catch morning sunrises everyday from the bed, which I adore. Bathtub inside the room was really big even for me, and I’m a tall girl haha 😅 (I have 176 cm height) and I could just lay there for hours and enjoy the view from the window. Bed was amazing too - extra big, extra comfortable and I just felt like I didn’t want to leave it 😅 I couldn’t remember when I slept that well. Also room have pretty big wardrobe, classic bathroom with rain-head shower, big TV, kitchen corner with electric kettle, coffeemaker, mini-fridge, coffee capsules, tea, sugar and water included. A little work area with chair, table and nice plant on it. Bathrobe and slippers are also available in the room.

The July - Boat & Co is a 4-star hotel located along the waterfront in Amsterdam's Houthaven district, ideal for both short and extended stays. The room was better than expected, the staff are attentive and fast. Five star stay.

CityHub Amsterdam offers social accommodation in Amsterdam. Guests can make their own drinks in the on-site self-service bar. If I had to choose one word to describe CityHub Amsterdam it would be "perfect". Never in my life have i experienced such an amazing and warm experience. Having already downloaded the app before arriving, even though I didn't have network, the map on the app somehow picked up where I was, giving me the useful assistance to find the hotel while battling bags and the rain. On arrival I was welcomed by Mathias, one very bubbly fella (definitely the type of person you'd want to be greeted by). My first impression: "wow, this is better than the pictures". The check in process was rather simple, scan your booking QR code at the self help desk, choose which pod you'd like (climb in - top, or dive in - bottom), last but not least assign a waterproof, weather resistant RFID wristband to you and your pod & boom bobs your uncle. You're set to go. I chose pod 16, the dive in option. After finding (which was rather easy) the pod, I was set for amazement. I expected the pod to be tight on space but wow was I wrong! Such a spacious pod. First, the most important thing - a whole very comfortable double bed. Ample space to move around and space to put your bags. You're given two towels (which can be topped up after use), 2 bath gowns, a few hangers and a few hooks to hang your things on (I used them to act as my clothes hanger to drive wet items from the rain). The pod is equiped with bluetooth surround sound and two plug points and two USB holes. Remember the app I spoke about...you can use that to control the lights in your room and chat to the hosts on duty. You can chat to them about anything you want. Looking for a friend, looking for a restaurant, looking for something to do in and around Amsterdam. They got you covered. Roos recommended the apple pie at Winkel 43 - possibly the best apple pie I've had in my entire life. Amazing recommendation!
