Offering a boardwalk restaurant and terrace, this hotel is right by the water in central Hammerfest. Free WiFi access is available. I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

A cozy hotel, with a old traditional restaurant with home-made local food. Vollan Gjestestue is located in Nordkjosbotn. Free WiFi access is available. Very comfortable and beautiful place! The restaurant is really good and the breakfast was amazing!
