Reception staff upon arrival till departure day were very polite and easy to interact with.. Service to accommodate me off my last minute needs, the staff went and beyond to helping me..Am so grateful and appreciated her help. We loved and enjoyed our stay.! Will definitely 💯 recommend this hotel to my friends and families. Bonus part, Taupo Medical Centre across the road if you need any medical attention, very short distance walk to town centre, and again, short distance walk to the lake front Thank you Lake Taupo Motor Inn.

This was a last-minute find after another booking cancelled due to Cyclone Gabrielle damage, and we were very pleasantly surprised to find it in such prime location right on Lake Taupo, with nice walking path at lake's edge, a nice pool, walking distance to restaurant at Two Mile Bay Sailing Club, short drive to downtown, and a spacious 2-story unit that felt like a nice apartment. Helpful management & staff. Wish we'd had more than one night to stay and enjoy this fabulous find!!

Simply superb !! From start to finish this hotel / b&b was the highlight of our visit to NZ. A beautiful home with stunning views of the lake in Lake Taupo. The hosts are most gracious. The room was beautiful. Extremely large with a dressing area, balcony with a gorgeous view, jacuzzi bath tub and shower. Breakfast was plentiful and beautifully presented.

The location is fantastic, right opposite Lake Taupo. We were in a 1 bedroom apartment which was immaculately clean, good size for 2 people, good size bathroom, well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a balcony with a peep of the Lake. It was very quiet and peaceful. Very near the restaurants and dining area. A delightful, helpful friendly host.

It is a little house funished with love where you quickly feel at home. The accommodation has everything you need for a longer or shorter trip through New Zealand and offers a large garden. It is a good starting point for a trip to Lake Taupo or the Tongariro National Park.

It is good value for the money and located near the lake Taupo. However, wifi becomes really slow in the evening. Kitchen and washrooms are in a separate building compared to the other hostels that I have been staying. But there is shower and toliet near the room.

Loved the space in the 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment, the underfloor heating, balcony with hot tub, swimming pool (39 degrees). It was quiet with good parking facilities and easy access to Lake Taupo.

The location was great. A two minute walk from a beautiful swimming beach on Lake Taupo. The unit was nice and big, like a small apartment. So much better than staying in one room with no room to move.

The Room was excellent and the breakfast and afternoon tea were lovely. Staff were great and could not have been more accommodating. The view across Lake Taupo was exceptional from that elevation.

Stunning view of Lake Taupo, We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent. We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom loft apartment which suited 2 couples travelling together perfectly.

the spot is absolutely beautiful, have a great view through Lake Taupo. The apartment was good and we have a meal in during our stay as the restaurant was closed.

A great location, on the edge of Taupo. A few hundred metres from Lake Taupo, but due to its elevation, has a great view over/onto the lake.

it was very clean and spacious the pol and the spa were a dream.

Facilities are complete, very kids friendly, location is superb.

We had a 2 bedroom hotel room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was included. The hotel is in a nice location near the lake, free parking.

Location was amazing. Right in front of the lake and only 5 minutes from the town centre. The room itself felt quite luxurious, it's obviously an old building but it's been renovated as good as it can be. Bedroom was spacious, bathroom was even bigger and the balcony/hot tub area was great. Quite baby proof too.
