Had a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights. The room is comfortable. Loved the breakfast arrangement which is free each day. When we arrived Francisco was on duty and was very helpful. Valerie and staff are always attentive and nothing is an issue. We feel like family.

RIGHT ON THE SURF BREAK , with it's own set of comfy beach recliners from which to view those waves :) Fun to watch the surfers on the very close waves, even if not surfing yourself. My room was 30 feet from the beach :) Lovely private covered outdoor space, an extension of the room itself. Comfortable hammocks and working spaces in the common area :) This section of Mancora's beach is absolutely delightful. Very pretty beach walk. Beautiful sunsets. I am here in December, and found the beach very uncrowded, friendly and relaxing. Easy to walk to anything needed in town. Good food nearby. I hope to return very soon ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Piura is a small town and there is nothing to do. Except the Plaza de armas, its not a beautiful town. We stayed here one night because we arrived late and went to mancora the day after.

Stayed a day to photograph the diversity of the fishing fleet and its fishers . View from hotel room was spectacular if you enjoy fishing fleets in harbors. Bused in from Piura and had to bus back out to continue journey north to Mancora area

Just a stopover
Piura is just a stopover to break up the journey from Ecuador into northern Peru (or vice versa). There's no reason to stay there otherwise. It does have a few decent places to eat though, and you can buy anything you need there.

Very kind and talkative people. We loved the Plaza de Armas in Piura, surrounded by trees from the region. Also the museum in Sullana city and La Huaca village.The beach is great in Colan, not clear water and white sand, but really nice. Chulucanas ceramics is amazing, and very reasonably priced.

Piura is a very nice city with plenty of places to visit.
Piura is a very nice city with plenty of places to visit. Warm people and delicious food. In general, food is not expensive and the places where to eat are diverse. Visiting Catacaos and the ruins site is a must eventhough more inversion is needed. I spent four days there and ejoy the visit.You also have malls where to buy with very good prices. Because places are so close, one to the other, you can get cabs or moto taxis.You can also start a one-day tour to the Beaches . I will return to Piura.

Le falta mucho desarrollo, sobre todo en alcantarillado pluvial (se notó por el mal temporal), pero en general es una ciudad que tiene mucho potencial, sobre todo por el comercio. La zona de Plaza de Armas es bonita, tranquila. Los centros comerciales, en especial el Real Plaza Piura muy bueno, hay de todo y los precios en relación a los que tenemos en Ecuador, mucho más cómodo.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Piura. I truly can't say enough about the staff and how friendly and accommodating they are, it was a huge help for me during a very long trip. Very clean facilities all around. The rooftop bar is terrific, the menu and food are great, as well as the cocktails. Mini split in every room, which you really need when it only gets down to 80 as a low at night. I cannot recommend Rua Hotel anymore highly! Thank you so much!

It was clean and friedly. They had had some problems with flooding (like the whole of Piura) so there was mould in the room. This may be resolved by the time you stay there.. but i stayed just 2 weeks after major flooding in the whole town. to be fair to them i expect many hotels were effected and would have the same problem. the shower was hot, bed comfy, security good, air con working etc, so no other complaint.

I like that I was able to get directions from the receptionist on the best way to get to the Club Atletico Grau home futbol match since I realized the day before arriving in Piura their home stadium is 1 hour away. Also was able to get information on a pickup laundry service that I utilized from another receptionist at the hotel.

This place is a bit hit and miss. Location is super central and close to anything you need. The rooms are spacious, have nice beds, etc. Air conditioning does work but has no obvious temperature indication, you just have to try the 'colder' or 'warmer' button to find a decent temperature. Shower is warm but at pretty low pressure (at least on the top floor). Staff are very friendly, including the people serving breakfast at the attached cafe at the bottom floor. Included breakfast had everything i wanted including very nice coffee.

The setting of the rooms around the pool with the coconut trees and palms is beautiful. The pool is clean and refreshing in the heat and you can have drinks and snacks beside the pool. We are digital nomads and the wifi was excellent for our needs, including uploading video. The rooms are spacious with quality linens, comfortable beds and pillows. The amenities provided are very good. The breakfast has a good range of food. It was all fresh. The hotel staff are lovely, always professional and happy.

Everything was perfect. This very stylish hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach. The room with a sea view was dreamy. Big comfortable bed and nice bathroom with outdoor shower. The food & drinks were amazing and staff excellent. They accommodated my gluten allergy very well. We enjoyed walking on the beach, swimming in the sea ( experience required as there is a bit of a current) and relaxing poolside. We saw many humpback whales passing right in-front of the hotel We did the yoga class which was also very good. We only wished we could stayed longer!
