Gornjak hotel&restaurant is located in the heart of the Gornjačka gorge, surrounded by forrest, on the bank of Mlava river, facing the medieval monastery Gornjak but also on the main road and easily accessible, with sufficient parking places. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with big balconies facing the monastery. The food is exceptional, very tasty, home-made, portions are big and can be shared. The staff are plaesant, flexible and disposable at all times. The last morning of our stay I wasn't feeling well and the manager had pleasantly allowed us to vacate the room later, with no extra charge for the late check out. There are lots of walking tracks around the facility, well marked with descriptions of the lenght, time needed to get to the final point and level of difficulty. There are lots of cultural, historical and natural beauties to visit in the vicinity of the pansion, not more than 10-20km away, by car or bike - the ride is gorgeous!

The employees are extremely professional and friendly. I arrived late, despite the restaurant being full (an event for a closed party), they immediately took care of my accommodation. The restaurant itself, as well as the accommodation facility, are well maintained, my room was spotless clean and tastefully modernly furnished. The veal stew that I ordered in the restaurant for late dinner - great! Breakfast according to my taste - like at home and still plentiful(and I took a small one:)). Parked my motorcycle behind the ramp with security cameras. The pool was not in use at the time, so i can't comment. I will be happy to come again.

Everything was great—the staff was really kind and helpful, the pool was nice and the food was tasty. I recommend it. 😊

Very helpfull host family. Imanual did everything he could to help us for our search. Food in restaurant was very nice. We hope to come back soon to our friends 😁

Everything is new and very clean. The apartment with small kitchen was comfort, so enough room beside there were three beds (for three persons). Great location, only 300m away from the beach, but enough not to hear the music from the club on the beach at night. Also, enough space to part the car next to building, All the recommendations for the host and apartments!

On night 25 of our 45 day road trip through Eastern, Central Europe this was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. Its description on the web site was 100% accurate. Would absolutely stay here again. The view from our balcony of the Danube was exceptional. Lovely grounds, excellent value.
