The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

Joachim, Angel and the carer and cook were all fantastic, warm, helpful and entertaining in the evening, by lighting the fire and providing some warm tea and snacks. Breakfast was also good. My room had a double bed overlooking the volcanos. I had to share a lovely shower and toilet room with another bedroom in the ground floor, and this was not problem at all. It was always squeaky clean and available every time I needed it. The shower was warm and powerful.

Here was build a project with great purpose and a lot of love from the owners for the ones who really need!

If you want to feel at home this is the place to be. You have to stay here if you plan on doing the gorilla tracking, really you will thank me later. Special Note: Luna was the best member of the team ❤️❤️

Highly recommend - slightly outside Musanze town, and therefore much quieter than some of the other go-to affordable inns.

The accommodation was really comfortable and we really appreciated all the little touches like the hot water bottles and fire being lit in our room at night, to keep us cosy. The staff could not have done more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely recommend and come back here again.
