Surrounding- everything is green and beautiful. The pool area and the wellness center. Atmosphere- quiet, relax. Great value for money Parking Wifi Highly recommended!

Set in the highest level of protection in High Tatras National Park, BILÍKOVA CHATA - Horský hotel is located on the south-east facing slope of Slavkovský Peak, and is 300 metres from Hrebienok... I didn’t have breakfast at the chalet as I’m on a gluten-free and dairy-free diet (and vegetarian), which is not a good combination for eating in Slovak restaurants so I brought food with me. It’s great to be able to store food in the mini-fridge at the hotel corridor. The last time I stayed at the chalet with my partner, we suggested it would be useful to have access to a kettle instead of having to ask for hot water for the flask at the bar (though the staff were always very helpful). This time there were communal kettles at the hotel corridors, as well as a microwave. It all made preparations for long mountain walks much easier. I arrived before check-in time and asked if I could leave my luggage at the reception while I went walking and as my room was ready, I was checked in early, which was really appreciated. Every time we stay, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and clean, with a good bathroom/ shower. The views are great (especially from the apartment which faces the mountains). Staying at the chalet saves 6km (walking from/to an alternative base in Starý Smokovec) which allows more time for walking to Zbojnícka chata and Téryho chata.

The newly renovated Atrium Hotel High Tatras near to the funicular to the Hrebienok set 300 metres away and the town of Stary Smokovec offers you cosy en-suite rooms with balconies and internet... Great facilities, hotel very well made for kids, the food was very good, usually buffets in Slovakia are not good, but this one was very innovative and complete. Just one remark is that I stayed in the reconstructed part which is absolutely great and worth it however we had other family members who stayed in the older part which if I would have stayed there probably I would not review perfect

Set at 1500 metres above the sea level and on the trail of Tatranska Magistrala in the Mengusovska Valley in the High Tatras, this hotel is a 60-minute hike from Strbske Pleso. Location was incredible, restaurant and breakfast excellent. Enjoyed the wellness centre.
