The people in Kearney in all areas such as the restaurants, tourist exhibits were wonderful. The Microtel Hotel made our stay great. My friend and I were there for the Nebraska Senior Games(cycling). We were about a mile from race site and the restaurants were abudent in our area. We ate at Red Lobster and Ruby Tuesdays with great satisfaction. The PATHWAY exhibit over the highway is a must on anyone's list.

I love Omaha. Easy to get around, but I also lived here previously while attending college. Lots of great places to eat and shop, plus it's a great place to stay when there are Nebraska football games at home in Lincoln!

Lots to do! Should've stayed longer, there was so much on offer. Was here for the eclipse and found the city to be clean, friendly, beautiful, relaxing. Felt safe. Wonderful Sheldon art museum with some significant works is located on the picturesque university campus in the heart of town. Felt like I was in the best Nebraska has to offer and started to understand the state from a visitors point of view. Everything is easily walkable and clear to locate. Would love to come back and see more art especially the great plains art museum, visit pioneers park to see the wild animals, go up the capitol building (incredible lobby), see the sunken gardens and antelope park, spend more time relaxing on campus, and visit the other many museums. The historic haymarket area is lovely for tourists with all the facilities and old train station, and downtown has some cool bars. Generally a great little city. Bet its buzzing when there's a game or concert on! Very impressed.

I came the weekend of the Colorado at Nebraska football game and didn't want to stay in Lincoln, so I reserved a room at this nice hotel and - wouldn't you know it - I got the handicapped accessible room, which presented a slight challenge (for me) with the shower, but I couldn't complain. The room was fabulous, comfortable, the TV had Wi-Fi and any (free) channel you can name, and it was oh so QUIET, which I love. A tiny bit high - because of the weekend it was - but I highly recommend it.

They had possibly the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. The staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location. Within walking distance of a strip mall, including a wall mart and liquor stores. Close to a lot of restaurants, specifically a ruby Tuesday directly next to the hotel. If you're in town for a Nebraska game, the high school is a block away and provides shuttle services. Otherwise, it is a short drive to the stadium. We will be staying here again!!

The location is convenient, just off of the Nebraska Parkway with easy access to the Route 2 Warner Expressway to the east and a few miles drive from I-80 in the west. After staying here, I decided to book an AmericInn for our next stop, and was not disappointed. The hotel is close to Walmart, where we purchased some food to eat in the room, and there are some restaurants nearby.

This hotel is well-located near I-80. It is close to gas and food. We were excited to see a Runza (Try it if you go through Nebraska) and a Scooter's Coffee. The hotel itself has an interesting indoor pool in the center of some of the rooms. The room was small, but clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast was included and started at 6:00 AM which was helpful as we needed to leave early.
