Amazing staff, great location in the town near shops and restaurants, and the pool is super relaxing. I met loads of other travelers here and Edie, Eva, and everyone else do a phenomenal job to make sure everyone is comfortable. It was a great place to socialize and connect with people in Port Vila to go on trips with or just hang out with. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Vanuatu as a backpacker or someone on a budget.

Situato in una posizione privilegiata sul lungomare, il Grand Hotel and Casino offre camere climatizzate con vetrate a tutta altezza e balconi privati. Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities were great, some minor issues re main toilets but easily resolved with two other options. Felt safe and welcomed each time we entered and left the premise.

I had a really nice stay at this budget hotel in Port Vila. It is fantastically located in a nice part of town that is quiet and safe, yet only a short walk or drive from downtown Vila. My room was small and basic, yet comfortable. At this price point, there is very little available anywhere in Vila that is so centrally located. The staff were extremely pleasant, kind, and polite. There is a casino on site, but it was never loud. Bonus: the fine museum and the striking parliament are a short walk from the hotel.
