Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 950 metres from Apia's town centre. Vaea Hotel owners Lupe and Dean were gracious, friendly and informative hosts. They went above being hosts, they made you feel like part of their family rather than just a guest! Always smiling and happy. Breakfast was always fresh and great tasting! Farm fresh eggs done different ways, pancakes, toast, coconut jam, peanut butter, jams, marmalade, a fresh variety of fruit and alot of other good food, some being baked goodies such as coconut filled buns, so yummy! The Samoan coffee was an added bonus of tasting great. In the morning, the setting was peaceful and relaxing with the many flowers, plants and bushes with the birds singing. Dean and his son Shane made very good margaritas, a definate must try! A clean hotel with a lovely family owning and running it. Situated in Apia, 2.9 km from Palolo Deep Beach, The Samoan Outrigger Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owners Claus, Laena and the staff Mafoe, Tilo, Kilina and Sua along with the others that maintained the beautiful garden and pool were exceptional. Nothing was ever a problem, every day they would ask more than once if there is anything anyone needed. Although some people may think this is normal in a hospitality industry it makes a massive difference particularly if you are staying there on your own and you may be new to the country and everything that comes with that. There were several people from different parts of the globe staying there who had never been to Samoa so it was wonderful to observe that consistency of exceptional service! The wonderful team at The Samoan Outrigger Hotel really make Samoa proud by what they do, there is that saying that “actions speak louder than words” so much so that you know you will be coming back there to stay again and again! I really do believe that this is truly a hidden gem of paradise!

Located 2.8 km from Palolo Deep Beach, Hotel Laimoa offers 3-star accommodation in Apia and features an outdoor swimming pool. Some rooms are equipped with a kitchenette with a fridge. I didn't pay for a breakfast, but need to have hot water. Not a good location, very small for parking and road to the back wasn't good. Not safe in the night time. But the room was good, nice view, from upstairs clean and tidy, spaces and comfortable beds. Very good staff who look after quests very well.

Moatoga Hotel is a family-owned hotel, situated in the heart of central Apia. Everything. Staff members were amazing, facilities were clean and lovely. Beds & room space was perfect. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family members.

Offering a restaurant and a recently renewed turtle-shaped swimming pool, Hotel Millenia Samoa is just 5 minutes’ walk from Palolo Deep where you can go snorkelling. - The staff was by far the highlight of our stay, so very welcoming with smiley faces. Nothing was too much for them. They accommodated our every need and more. - Bar/Music - Beachfront - Local Attractions - within walking distance to shops, market and dining places - spacious rooms

Located on Apia Harbour, Aggie Grey's Hotel & Bungalows is a waterfront hotel housed in a colonial property built in 1930. The property was absolutely beautiful close to the markets and staff were friendly and such lovely people
