Lux Grand Baie is modern and new (relative to their other properties). If you are unsure which Lux to stay at on the island, we stayed at both Le Morne and Grand Baie and I would recommend staying at both and splitting your time. They offer very different experiences. Le Morne is more tropical paradise / holiday beach vibes. Grand Baie is more upmarket high end hotel with stunning beach and pools. Facilities are excellent with a state of the art gym, spa (free use for hotel guests), 3 pools and spacious rooms. The interior design is top spec and ensures a relaxing stay. Staff are helpful, particularly at the fitness centre. Loungers are plentiful and comfortable. Location is OK the north is generally better protected from the wind and if it’s cloudy it clears quickly. Hotel manager will do anything to ensure your stay is pleasant. Asian restaurant is world class. Rooms are very spacious. Can’t beat the views!

Really lovely, well decorated and maintained by the sea. Great facilities and choice of restaurants. The staff overall are really friendly. The staff at the spa and Gym areas were particularly excellent.

The Hotel is run very well, the food all round was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly!!! Nice for families, a bit busy for couples!! We enjoyed it though as a couple!Our room on the beach was lovely!!

We were welcomed with friendliness and had a nice welcome drink. Vincent is very friendly and is great worth the guests. The air-con in the room works and the new year function was great. They give you gifts like a Tshirt, water and Coke Cola to make up for the rest.
