You can tell they have a solid team lead by some fine, professional and passionate hands on management, who are always present to greet & make time to chat to each guest. That in itself was pretty amazing. We were greeted and treated with such care from the moment we arrived to when we had to bid farewell. Thank you for an amazing experience and we highly recommend Lux Le Morne for its magical back drop, the most natural dolphin swim with skipper Dan on the beach front, delicious food and most of all the service is just what you should expect from a hotel at this level.

Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, member of Leading Hotels of the World, is an exclusive haven of luxury spread over 27 scenic acres and 750 m of pristine beach. Firstly, we loved and enjoyed our stay. the staff were extremely kind and welcoming as well as helpful if any issues arose. Also, the facilities such as the gym, bikes to rent, spa, beach, tennis court were all perfect and not crowded. We also enjoyed the breakfasts as there was an amazing selection as well as Mauritian options which introduced us to local culture.

The JW Marriott Mauritius Resort includes panoramic Indian Ocean and Le Morne Brabant Mountain views from its beachside location. More than anything else we enjoyed an exceptional level of service from the whole staff, from reception to restaurants to room cleaning, beach service, etc. Room was good, we had one on the second floor of a villa looking at the beach and the ocean, great view, comfortable room and a nice terrace. Beach was absolutely great. The five restaurants were all good, we tried them all. Hotel has an excellent gym, great spa and the concierge will help arrange for a variety of excursions, we went to see dolphins and whales.

Special tks to Joël (concierge) for the more than welcome reception as well as for coordinating tours. Have dinner at Umami and Dina are a must do. At Umami, delicious Omakase menu. At Dina, Selvem (waiter) was super friendly with super service provided. Paco (waiter) at pool area super attentive to us. In a nutshell, amazing people running the biz. Spectacular landscape.

Highly recommended - we really enjoyed our holiday at La Pirogue and hope to be back soon! The resort is really beautiful, with a nice beach, fantastic pool and comfortable rooms. They took very good care of us during the cyclone, providing information, packed food and then cleaning up the premises afterwards... The WiFi signal was very strong (and functional even during the cyclone - which my 8yo daughter appreciated very much :)) Many thanks to all the staff, especially Wahida who cleaned our room and Dya from the main restaurant, who knew exactly how we liked our coffee... :) We had a few rather amusing mishaps when ordering something from the Beach Bar. E.g. For three guests we got served 3 balls of icecream into 1 common cup :). The next day we ordered the same ice-cream, and this time we got it into three cups, but with no spoons. On repeated requests to several staff members we finally received... drinking straws :)) That being said, 95 % of our orders went through fine and the food was always fantastic (I highly recommend the "black box" - sandwich, frites, salad and fruit - photo attached).
