Holiday Guest House is in the infamous Chungking Mansions. It is worth the visit. Its reputation of being a crime hotspot is historic and we felt safe the whole time. For Hong Kong this is probably good value. But it is very basic. Don't expect a world class towel, curtains or bedding - it's just the basics.

Good position to reach Soho and Central with mid level escalator . Not far from The peak. Good service on concierge where we dropped our luggages. We arrived very early in the morning, the room wasn’t ready yet but as soon as it was they contacted us to check in. Amazing view from the room.

The building and rooms are quite old. Room without windows to air the bathroom. Need to be renewed. Breakfast must be improved: very poor.

It is in Wanchai area where there is a lot of bars. If you walk out at night, you will see a different night scene.

Everything. The staff are nit helping. The rooms are too small and not the same on the advertisement. When we get there they didbt specify on the instruction that the check in should be in the 13th floor i need to go back and forth. And the check in of 3pm was not true. 3pm inwas told to go back for check in but they are just starting to clean the room. 2 small rooms took almost 2hrs to clean. I will.not recommend this, there are rooms that no windows as well.

Very old, we were living on the top floor (level 16), there was no lift between 15 and 16, we have to clam on the stairs. I saw the rooms below have been renovated, but not for the level 16 one. We have paid HKD 2200 per night, the room is not value that much at all, very very small, outdated.
