  - “The property was beautiful and felt so homely. There was lots of space for a group of 6, and having four bathrooms was a godsend. There were also balconies on two of the bedrooms, one really sizeable and the other big enough for two chairs. There were lots of homely furnishings and nice touches. It was very clean and tidy. There were CCTV cameras surrounding the property that could be viewed from the kitchen which made us feel very secure. It was a good location that felt very safe and was quiet, but close enough to the exciting areas (10 minute Uber to Copacabana) and you could walk to Urca beach easily. There was also a small shop and bakery within a 2 minute walk. The attention to detail in the property was great - there was cool filtered water waiting in the fridge, coffee ready, and the host kindly left a note and bottle of Brazilian wine. The air conditioning worked really well and wasn’t too noisy. The showers were nice and the water pressure was okay. There were plenty of towels, extra cushions, and blankets. There were several high quality hairdryers, and a first aid kit available. The WiFi was good and worked well despite many people connected to it. We didn’t see many mosquitos in or near the property, but there were mosquito nets over the bed which was a helpful touch - half our group used them and half didn’t, and none of us got bitten in the property. The hosts welcomed us so well, gave us a thorough tour and pointed us in the direction of nearby local attractions. They were always on hand if we needed anything. They also gave us some good tips for navigating Carnival, which we appreciated. All in all, we loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!”
