The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. He took the initiative to help me carry my backpack and answered my questions patiently. The room I stayed in is different from where I checked in. I found out I couldn’t charge my phone with my own adapter, so I asked if I could use one of the big adapters in the public area. The staff said I could borrow a small one, and he brought it to me within a few minutes. I really appreciate it. The room is clean and equipped with a hair dryer, hot showers, and a free washing machine. The bed is comfortable. The location is very convenient, with an MRT station and a 24-hour supermarket nearby.

There are 18 beds in a large dormitory-style room, with a shared public area, and four showers with toilets. Fortunately, the people I stayed with were not noisy. The building where I needed to check in was hard to find, and the elevator was a bit strange. It only goes to even-numbered floors, so I had to take the stairs to the 11th floor, which was quite scary as the stairs are old and dark. Luckily, my room was in a different building. Their service hours are from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM, so if you want to store your luggage, you should do so within this period.

The location was excellent - in between 2 subway stations so easily accessible. Plus, just a 20 minute walk to the Star ferry. The area around the hotel was also good for restaurants/shops etc. Room and bathroom were very clean. Wifi was excellent.

The room was much much smaller than I expected - luckily we could put suitcases under the bed - otherwise there was no room for them. The beds were incredibly hard also. Not a lot of tourist information available when I asked - I was given a city map and that was it.

Location is good. Just a walking distance to Avenue of Stars, Kowloon Mosque/Islamic Center, Kowloon Park, Victoria Harbor Piers and nearby malls.

1. I booked for Melbourne Hostels but when I arrived, they allocated me a room named Germany Hostel at 6th Level. The explained that both and others (23 of them) are under same management. No sure about their level of quality. But I have attached here the photos of advertised room vs real room. 2. My room, as you can see no so clean and tidy. Shower not working for hot water (but they managed to settle it on the 2nd day), exhaust fan in the toilet was not working (I got flu and sore throat during my stay). Towel I have requested few times before they gave finally. 3. A long queue to use elevator sometimes. From Germany Hostel there was no going up, just go down. I have used staircase few times to go down and go up to management office at level 10th (to borrow iron and for checkout).

Terrible stay; degraded rooms and extremely hard mattresses. I do not recommend this place at all. My family and I stayed in two rooms, and this cannot be called a hotel. It’s essentially a building where each apartment has been converted into a room. The rooms are poorly maintained and cared for. The walls are dirty, and in some areas, the partitions are broken. In the bathroom, there was a leak, leaving the floor constantly wet. Similarly, the room where my parents stayed also had a leak. The worst part was the mattresses—they were extremely hard, like bricks. Sleeping on them was awful. Overall, the room was in a state of disrepair and certainly not worth the price. To make matters worse, the receptionists—if you can even call it a reception—provided terrible service. They questioned basic requests, such as asking for toilet paper. When I arrived, the roll provided was nearly empty, yet they made it seem like a hassle to replace it. Never in my life have I stayed in a place this bad. Although the photos online make the rooms look acceptable, the reality is far from it—they are dreadful. It was an extremely disappointing experience.
