We arrived to very welcome snacks, and had a delicious breakfast prepared each morning. The pool, gardens and villa were lovely, and perfect for our 2 night stay. A 5 minute walk to local restaurants and shops and coffee, a 10 minute walk to the mall and not much further to the river, Dutch square and the delights of Jonker Street. This was truly a gem of a place to stay and worlds apart from the large, chain hotels. We will definately be back.”

  As we came way earlier we were able to check in way earlier as wrll. A room with a different view than initially asked and given, but obviously accepted as we came too early. Kind and helpful staff, the bed (and pillows!) were very pleasant. Bathroom with shower was perfect, all you need was there. A small refridgerator in the room and nice lighting for when it turns dark.

  The shuttlebus which was said to go up and down atleast once per hour (I think even twice times), from the hotel to the airport and back, did not ride when we arrived at the airport. We were at the designated area for it, checked every out- & incoming bus, asked around. Nothing. We eventually chose to pay and go by cab. Advice to the hotel: place a sign at the airport with schedules that tell when busses and shuttle busses of hotels arrive and leave. The room was clean and neat. I would however just make sure to steam out the ingrained dirty fingerprints at the place where people pull the darkening curtain close.

  We had a great stay at the royal garden, Hong Kong. We loved the location and room. Also the breakfast buffet was lovely with a great choice of varieties. The omelettes and noodles were our favourite In particular big thanks to Morris and Nora from the club lounge

  The location for us was really great. The metro station is near by and you have a market right next to the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped even with a wash dryer. Also the hotel has nice sitting and working area next to the lobby.

  Very well located close to shops, restaurants, MTR and trams. Room was clean and tidy. Staff across the board were very helpful - special thanks to Ronnie and Simon who went out of their way to help us find a phone lost in a cab.

  John Wong at the front desk was knowledgeable and helpful whenever we needed information. He recommended very traditional dim sum place within walking distance, directions and advice for The Peak, etc.

  The beds were a little small because we opted for the room with 3 single beds, but small price to pay for the city centre location. Overall we were comfortable and slept well.

  check-in desks area seems insufficient for large hotel.Too many kids running round damaging Christmas decorations. I think staff should have a word with them and/or parents/tour organisers as it disturbs other guests.
