GRAND your home with common kitchens with self check-in is centrally located in Engelberg, next to the village´s train station and 600 metres from both Titlis Rotair Cable Car and Gerschnialp -... It was a super cool, modern and hip hotel/hostel. I really liked the self-checkin and self-checkout. No waiting at reception etc. We were 3 people and the room was big enough for us to not feel we were in each others face. The shower and toilet were separate, small but manageable. There was enough parking on-site for our car but I guess it gets full during peak season but enough parking all around. We loved the self-service kitchen and making our breakfast etc. They have coffee, tea and cakes and you pay for what you consumers which is just 1 CHF per hot drink at the end of your stay, so that was cool. You definitely need internet on your phone because the app gives you the number to enter the hotel OR open the door. I couldn't get the number initially but after restarting it had no issues. The location is just perfect, the railway station was just behind in case you didn't want to use the car. The mountain view from the hotel was just breathtaking.

Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 2,132 metres above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer. I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.
