This boutique hotel is situated in Goslar, within a few minutes' walk of all main sights. Set on the Steinberg hill, it offers free WiFi as well as a great view of Goslar and the Harz Mountains. The breakfast was exceptional in terms of variety and quality. The room was very tidy and nicely furnished. The Check-In and overall support was also very good even though we arrived later than we planned.

The hotel is a privated owned traditional hotel just set back from the main streets of Bad Harzburg with good views and a lovely garden. The owner was friendly and meticulous in looking after us and the breakfast she provided was superb. We were also able to get good recommendations for eating out at night. There was good parking at the hotel and we enjoyed free bus travel for the duration of our stay which was very useful to enable us to visit the neighbouring town of Goslar. It was our first visit to the Harz area but we are sure we will be back.

The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby!
