Overlooking the River Lillån, this family-run hotel is quietly located in central Orsa. It offers a private bridge, a breakfast room with river views and rooms with free WiFi. Our room was lovely. It was spacious, we loved the view and appreciated the space to sit on comfortable chairs. The hotel and surrounds were quiet. We also appreciated the breakfast in the morning. It is so good to have breakfast provided. There was a good selection of foods and the dining room was welcoming. We appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the small fridge. The host recommended a local restaurant. We were so pleased we followed his advice because we had an outstanding meal made with fresh ingredients and were entertained by fantastic live music!

Friendly staff at reception and in breakfast area. Famous for afternoon waffles.

You can enjoy hiking trail, lake, sauna, nice morning/evening village walking without car!

This family-run hotel is next to the Grövlan River, 2 km from Grövelfjäll Ski Resort. It offers gourmet cuisine, free Wi-Fi and a relaxation area with sauna and outside hot tub. Good breakfast but no fish and not very much fruit or vegetables. The food standard was generally good and we like being able to make a packed lunch from the breakfast table.

Overlooking Lake Siljan, this hotel is 1 km from Rättvik Train Station and the Storgatan shopping street. WiFi and parking are free. Access to a gym, hot tub and sauna is also free. Absolutely outstanding in every way. The location, the staff, the facilities… you name it, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was wonderful, with some of the best scrambled eggs we’ve had. I highly recommend this hotel!
