Kominka neri（古民家煉り） is situated in Miyawaka, 12 km from Azenomachi Ehon Museum, 13 km from Ino Tensho Kotai Jingu Shrine, as well as 14 km from Hisasue Park. The onsen in the room was fantastic. The room was huge and had a great traditional feel. The garden outside and the shogi screens really gave it a cosy feeling.

The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and the serving staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The futon bed was made to perfection. I would also like to thank this receptionist who is a Korean/American mix (sorry I forgot her name). She is very helpful and explains everything clearly. It makes a huge difference for me who can’t speak Japanese. My stay in Daimaru Besso was very enjoyable and I hope to return back soon.

Staff are polite. they are responsive when communicating before arrival for necessary arrangement. The room is spacious and in excellent new, clean, simple and modern. Breakfast was all from local produce and tasty.

Hatago er staðsett í Yanagawa. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði. Öll herbergin á þessu ryokan-hóteli eru með skrifborð. Sameiginlega baðherbergið er með ókeypis snyrtivörur. Rooms and House were meticulously clean and sparkling. Hostess was gracious.

Ryokan Kibun býður upp á gistirými í Tsuiki, 26 km frá Kitakyushu. Tsuiki-stöðin á Nippou Honsen-línunni er í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá gististaðnum. Very nice staff and amazing food

Akizuki Spa Ryokan Seiryuan er staðsett í Asakura, aðeins 13 km frá Hiroshiki Oda-listasafninu og býður upp á gistirými með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. I could possibly write an essay on the level of detail and attentiveness from the staff, which made this already wonderful location an incredible place to stay. From before our arrival, we had some concerns regarding finding our way to Seiryuan as we were unfamiliar with the area, and knew it was a tad more remote than all other locations we had visited. I attempted to reach out via Booking and Instagram, receiving a reply via Instagram that went above and beyond expectations. Yukari Hiraki verified how we were arriving (train/trolley) and which station, after which she provided detailed steps, screenshots, and cost estimates of our options (bus / taxi) and from where to pick them up. This allowed us to arrive at Seiryuan with significant confidence. As we were arriving, a staff member received us outside which surprised us. We had not yet arrived to their main entrance, and this is a very remote area where we saw no one else nearby during our final walk to Seiryuan. I suspect they have a very well placed camera in the approaching street to identify guests as his presence there felt quite magical. Every hospitality standard we had previously was shattered from the attentive check-in, room accompaniment, offering of tea/ appetizers and scheduling our dinner time. During dinner, which takes place in an ample private area with a lovely view of the pond/ garden, our waiter Sakurai was the utmost example of excellence. His attention to detail, knowing when to offer additional information about the dinner, when we were deep in conversation he was incredibly respectful. All of this while in English which he was able to communicate very effectively intricate details regarding the dinner. When we returned to our rooms the beds were made and we enjoyed the private onsen. Breakfast was also delicious and the check-out experience was also flawless.

Ohana er staðsett í Yanagawa. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði. Öll herbergin eru með loftkælingu og minibar. Borðkrókurinn er með ísskáp og hraðsuðuketil. Sérbaðherbergin eru með sturtu eða baðkari. Loved the room, facilities, the kind and helpful staff. We regretted not staying longer.
