Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. The free drinks and ice cream on the rooftop bar was a nice touch. Great location. Easy walk from the ferry and to the sites of Myajima island.

Located within 2.3 km of Tsutsumigaura Beach and 500 metres of Five Storey Pagoda, Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Miyajima. Basically everything : its location, renovation (it has been fully renovated 5 years ago apparently, materials are beautiful, minimalist yet you can feel subtitle taste), especially the garden and living-room area on the first floor, all the amenities are perfect and clean. You can feel traditional Japanese vibes with a fresh newly renovated atmosphere. It feels like a contemporary ryokan. My dad was able to enjoy for his first time a traditional Japanese breakfast and it was a great experience. The staff also advised us several restaurants options for dinner, and it was indeed very nice places as well. The same staff advised/helped us with a ferry route between Miyajima to Matsuyama.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, 800 metres from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as 1.3 km from Daisho-in Temple. Everything was exceptional. We loved the Oyado Tsukiusagi! It had the most comfortable futon beds we experienced through our 5 weeks of traveling through Japan, a beautiful and clean room, and the lady at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really love Miyajima so we were very happy that we could stay at the island through the night.

Located in Miyajima, 400 metres from Five Storey Pagoda and 600 metres from Itsukushima Shrine, Itsumoya offers a garden and air conditioning. The accommodation was incredibly spacious, with multiple rooms that perfectly adhere to local traditions. Everything was meticulously maintained, and the beautiful internal garden added to the serene atmosphere. The owner was very kind, providing tea, breakfast essentials for the next morning, and a map with nearby restaurant recommendations.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Beautiful building in a nice quiet part of the area. Really enjoyed a soak in the private baths after a lot of walking! Staff were so welcoming and lovely too. We had the dinner and breakfast which were exceptional for the price. Will recommend to others to stay here for sure!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Lovely view across the town. Quiet and away from the bustle. Room was very spacious. Enjoyed the private Onsen. Staff were excellent. Appreciated the service of picking up our luggage from the coin lockers at the ferry port.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. The environment is magical, with a small bridge leading to the forest. The building is splendid, clean, soft and decorated with a refined taste. The diner was exceptional (best sashimi I ever ate), and the onsen was also exceptionnal to enjoy.

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Yamaichi Bekkan is set in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 700 metres from Five Storey Pagoda. The staff were very charming. They really cared about you having a lovely stay. The two meals we had were amazing, especially the dinner.

Ryoso Kawaguchi, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Miyajima, 2.7 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach, 100 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, as well as 300 metres from Itsukushima... The treatment the equipment, the amability... Everything was a 10 from the beginning to the end. She even woke up early to say goodbye to us while leaving on the first ferry. MUST
