Located 1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and less than 1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Accommodations were truly fantastic, the room was tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the location was convenient for getting around town and close to the station, dining options, and shopping. Both the traditional Japanese and Western breakfast options were delicious, filling, and promptly arrived to our door. The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.

Nice pond with koi fish and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Excellent dinner and breakfast (as a vegetarian, I could not ask for more)

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan offers a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kameoka, 13 km from Keirin-ji Temple. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle... The room was very spacious and even had a sauna. The private bath was very nice, and also the public ones were beautiful. We really loved the service too, we had a very nice service by Serika-san who we also loved talking to. Really appreciated the shuttle bus service.

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- is set in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 47 km from Kii Fudoki No Oka Museum of Archaeology and Folklore. What a memorable stay and experience. The garden is gorgeous, the monks are incredibly nice and the food was delightful. We also enjoyed the morning ceremony. We only stayed for one night yet we will always cherish this memory. Thank you!

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Our best stay in Japan, an experience we will never forget. The temple itself is a beautiful, peaceful place just a few steps away from Okunoin. Our room was spacious and clean, really comfortable and equipped with everything we needed: yukata and tanzen, towels and toothbrush, tea set; toilets were shared but located in the same corridor. The food was light yet delicious and made us feel full and happy :) The monks have been welcoming and we really apprecciated having the chance to attend the ceremonies and the meditation held in the beautiful main hall; they communicate in english and in the room you can find detailed english information about the activities. We didn't use it because we had other plans but there is also a onsen for the guests. We left Koyasan feeling so serene and wish to be back one day!
