From the facade, to the lobby, to the room it’s a 10/10. We had beautiful good quality kimono’s to use in the room also. The details are absolutely everywhere in the room. Lastly as it was my birthday they surprised me upon my late return to the hotel with some delicious matcha cakes. Gave us an umbrella as well for the rain. Just wonderful!

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Beautiful temple stay with kind and efficient staff. Fantastic food and morning ceremony.

Hotel Morizuya gleda na osrednjo nakupovalno ulico v kopališkem predelu Kinosaki Onsen ter omogoča nastanitev v pristnem japonskem slogu z obiskom termalnih kopeli in japonskih restavracij. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen. If we could rate this property 100 stars, we would. It was such a great experience.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. The staff and vibes were on point!

Nastanitev Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan je v mestu Kameoka, 13 km od znamenitosti Keirin-ji Temple, in nudi sezonski zunanji bazen, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, vrt ter teraso. Everything was perfectly executed and communicated between staff so we didn’t have to repeat the same information. The hotel is simply amazing and the private open air onsen experience incredibly worth it!

The vegan Japanese breakfast was a delight every morning. The couple who run the hotel are delightful and so extremely helpful. We could use the kitchen throughout the day and help ourselves to tea, coffee and other drinks. We even got to do our laundry at no charge. The hotel feels more like a home, it is very welcoming, and you get to meet other fellow vegans. And the kitties were an added bonus to the package!

Staying here was one of my favorite experiences on the trip. I enjoyed the morning prayer and the cemetery near by. The food suprised and delighted.

Nastanitev 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- se nahaja v mestu Koyasan, 45 km od znamenitosti Matsushita Park, in ponuja pogled na vrt. Staying in a temple was a great experience. The temple was gorgeous, the monks were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the room was big and comfortable. We were invated to participate in the morning ceromony. I appreciated that they provided explanations afterwards so that we could fully enjoyed it.

We had a great time at the temple and participated to several ceremonies. The common spaces were very clean and the food was delicious :)
