What a great find this accomodation has been! After being initially slightly dissapointed we could not get a funaya accommodation, after our actual stay, all I can say is how lucky we were to have experienced the stay here instead. The room was so spaceous, and bright, with all the facilities we would have wanted. The kotatsu has been lovely! All the decoration and overall setting feels so cosy and warm. Exceptional breakfast, with many delicious choices. Lots of flavor and fresh, local ingredients. Loved the pickles and the atsuki dessert! Everything was spot on! Much more than we could have hoped. Wish we could have stayed more to enjoy the room facilities even better.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. ligger i Kyoto, 2 km fra Nijo Slot, og har restaurant, have og udsigt over haven. The hotel is a haven in the middle of Kyoto. The staff was extremely friendly (special mention for a charming Japanese young lady who had studied in Spain, and having learned that one of our sons liked Real Madrid, went our of her way to print tickets, the typical fan song, etc and deliver it to his room the next day), all perfectly fluent in English. The breakfast was delicious (choice between Japanese or Western-style), served in a private room for our family. The rooms come look like traditional ryokan but with modern equipment, including private outside hot baths, shower, etc. Definitely recommend!

Gion Oyado Kikutani ligger mindre end 1 km fra Gion Shijo Station og tilbyder 3-stjernet indkvartering i Kyoto samt have. The perfect traditional place for us to explore Kyoto. Staff and accommodation couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend

In the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features a garden and a washing machine. The hosts went out of their way way to ensure I had a great time during my stay in Kyoto. They were exceptionally kind.
